They should already be ina folder as WMP is just a tool to play them. If you don't know where they are do a search for mp3 files, which will find them for you. Right clik on the one(s) you want to send to phone and "send" option should appear. If you have a bluetooth dongle then "bluetooth" will be one of the options. Click that and make sure it finds the phone and away you go

Edit - assuming the are mp3 files already. If you are using XP one of the search parameters is music so just tick that
We all evolve - get on with it
  • well for it to be on wmp it need to be a file in a folder somewhere on your computer if it is

right click it in wmp and click properties you can see the location of the file.

now for the phone we need to know what phone(s) you have
  • You may need to check what format the songs are in. Most phones will play MP3, many won't play WMA. Once you find the songs, right click and check their properties.

If you've ripped songs from CD's, chances are they'll be in -

    C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\My Music

The other question is, how do you plan to transfer the songs to the phones? Have the phones got USB leads or do you plan to Bluetooth them over? If you want to Bluetooth them, you'll need a dongle to plug in to a USB port on your comp. You should be able to get one for around £5.

  • Once you find the songs, you should be able to right click on them once again, click on 'Send to' and use the bluetooth option that appears.
