Who to send a claim to at HSBC?

Options
Hi guys, I have just completed my bank charges letter to HSBC. I can't believe over 2001 and 2002 i was charged £400 in bank charges and I never noticed!!
Anyhow in another thread someone said to send the letter to: HSBC Bank plc
8 CANADA SQUARE
LONDON
E14 5HQ

But is there a certain person or department it should be addressed to?

Thanks for a response.

S. :)

For all the addresses you need at all stages of your claim. See THIS THREAD.

I did claim some charges with HSBC and I went directly to the Branch and make them sign a copy as received, this way it did not got "lost" and after 6-8 weeks they agreed to pay it back, but this was after my second letter threatening to take them to Court and 2-3 calls to customer Services (use calling from aboard numbers to avid paying 0870 charges)
  • Thanks for that papito. I was thinking of sending it recorded delivery or special delivery but might try the branch idea instead. I'll have a think...

    Cheers.

Whichever way you send the letters. Get a signed and dated receipt (this is why I prefer and recommend recorded/registered post).
