Just received a letter this morning saying a payment I made over a week ago wasn't processed. What good is sending a letter, I know it's Christmas and it's slowed it up a bit in the mail, but if I send a payment online it may be helpful to know by e-mail or at least a note on the accoun0t if something is wrong. I'm going to phone the receiver bank (Alliance and Leicester) to see if I can extend the overdraft otherwise I'll get charged for going over my overdraft.....
