Hi all,
I was made bankrupt on 22/8/11, i thought i would feel relieved but im feeling sick all the time, more so because of the OR, she rang me the same day and asked had i took out any loans, HP, credit cards in the last year, i couldnt think at the time as my head was a mess, i told her i wasnt sure. I rang her back and explained that i had, i took a credit card out in march as i was paying so many debts i had nothing to live off, (i was a single parent with 3 teenagers) I traded in my car as my old one needed a load of work i couldnt afford, she was fine about the car and even though its a good car i can keep it as there is no equity in it. The finance company agreed and said i could keep it as long as i keep up the payments, that i am happy with.
My fear and why i feel sick is i dont know what to expect when i go and see her ( i have to go to see her instead of a phone call as i have equity in the house) im dreading it i feel like i have been really bad and she is going to give me a real ticking off!! think its fear of the unknown. Has anyone had experience of meeting their OR and what do they do? thanks
