Old Argos Item

Last Christmas my mum got me a sewing machine from argos but it keeps jamming so I was going to see if argos will exchange it.

Only problem is the receipt we have has faded and we can just about make out the item number so we aren't even sure it is the right receipt.

Is there a way to check old argos numbers, I don't want to take it in with the wrong receipt as its quite heavy!

Did you pay by credit/debit card? If so, it will be on your statement.

it was paid by card but it there were several things bought at the same time.

But you can prove you bought something in Argos on that day.

I took something back to Argos a couple of years ago and didn't have receipt. I pulled up my bank statement on my phone and showed them this as proof of purchase and they accepted it.

Thank you I will get her statement in as well then just incase the receipt isn't for the sewing machine.

Stick the Argos number in google... see what it turns up.
