I have a Windows XP oem disk. Does anyone know where I can get one of the COA numbers to work with it?

If its a legally installed copy of Windows then you should be able to double click on "my computer" and then click on system information and your COA number should show on the "general" tab page0

or it's on a sticker on your PCEx forum ambassador

Hi zebra
When you buy Windows you're not just buying the disk - you're also buying a license to use it.
The disk itself is only worth 10 pence or so, the other fifty odd quid is the license.
That's how it works.

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer - it would be legit if it was still being installed on/with the motherboard/cpu/drives/memory/etc that the OEM originally installed it on.
