my fil is in the market for a 50" lcd/plasma tv.
as a true moneysaver i am looking for the best value tv on offer at present.
i think he has his eye on lg or philips or panasonic makes.
your help and opinions would be appreciated.

The LG in Comet at the moment certainly represents the best value for money in that size. Around the £1300 mark.0

i saw the lg in currys for £1399 includes theatre kit and was either the sky+ or a dvd recorder but cant remember exact offer but thought it was very good.would have purchased but have to change car instead.i would have driven round in the tv package but oh says thats not possible, unfortunately (LOL).if you look on currys website you may be able to find details.hope thats some help.People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with
