ppi claiming

had a loan with avco trust in the 90s and the ppi was with an insurance company called mgi which was missold to me, firstly does anybody know who mgi is and there address, and secondly can we still claim after all this time, many thanks.

Hi there
You pursue the one's that set up and sold you the policy in first instance, if mis sold, as they were the one's responsible.

If though the business were not regulated and they do not resolve your complaint, then you can consider going the underwriter/insurer avenue. The FOS have suggested this direction to many in the same position.

Do you still have the address details of Avco Trust?

avco were bought out by the associates and they in turn were bought out by city financial.

So you would have to pursue Citi Financial then I take it?

Was it these that sold you the ppi?

You pursue the company that set up and sold you the account if in regards of making a ppi reclaim of being mis sold this product.;)
