Car tax on a ford ka van?

Does any one know the cost of car tax on 1300 ka van, Ive looked on dvla website but Im confused its classed as light goods vehicle. does that mean you pay same tax as a car? Im thinking of buying one

    tax should be same as car which isnt cheap considering what they are
    be more aware of making sure insurance is reasonable before you commit:)

    how old is it
    Its 2003. im confused as it says on website it should be same as car but Ive been told its differant for vans

    No it won't be the same as a car, since it isn't a car. It's a van, hence the big open space where the back seats would be if it were a car. :)


    Bit like a hatchback with no rear seat then.

    i reckon its cheaper than the equivalent car because owner cant sell the thing
    i had the same problem with a chevette van in 1863
    was easier to sell camels

    That's just a saloon with a larger boot lid.

    I really can't remember but I do know my mark 2 escorts were saloons.:D

    used to read him in car car conversions and thought he was a brilliant guy

    A Ford KA Van.... That has to be the worlds smallest van!
