Why more line rental?

In March we paid the £120 for line rental with BT for one year, with anytime call plan and a cost of £5 per month, subject to length of calls etc. This quarter they are charging me LINE RENTAL for July to October, plus the excess on calls, which I expected. How can they do this? Surely the £120 has paid all the line rental until next March? BT do not make it easy to get in touch with them, via Internet or phone! Thankyou

That must be an error. If you're on Line Rental Saver, there shouldn't be any rental charge on your bill for 9 months.
Contact them and demand they put it right.
http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/761,893,894Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
