I have been to Homebase today and found some bargains.

Blue Sleeping bag- £2.99
2 person tent -£14.99
4 person tent -£29.99
Foot pump to blow up beds -99p
battery operated pump to blow up beds £1.99
Ladybird lunch bag-49p
Camping sauce pan-£2.49

There was also lots of blow up paddling pools all half price and also some odd bits in the gardening section eg. bird box £2.93

The tent and the sleeping bags are thin, but the kids love them in the garden to play in.

I have also noticed this morning an 8ft trampoline with enclosure reduced to £50.

Thank you for posting the offer and links,I've reserved a mummy sleeping bag.

Anyone know why it says 2x125gsm, normally they say 250/300gsm?

Thanks - always wanted a battery powered pump - looked in Mr T's the other month but they were £9.99. But £1.99 is a bargain :j

  • If anyone in Cardiff wants the standard sleeping bags, I've got 2 of these reserved until 4pm tomorrow. They are at the Culverhouse Cross store. I managed to get 2 of them from the Llanishen store after having to pick something up round the corner.

I reserved the battery pump then picked up a single air bed for £4.99 in store as well. Seems most of North Down must read this forum as all 5 pumps that were in stock yesterday had been reserved for collection by the time I arrived at lunchtime!!

Tempted by the tent but DS is still scared of the kids play tent I have for him so will hold off for a while.

Reserved electric(battery) pump going to be used for garden inflatables :). Even if we have to switch it off after X minutes of use, it saves lots of time and effort!
