But to be fair, it isn't really a semi-automatic transmission, it is a semi-manual gearbox, something quite different.

As I understand it it's actually an automated manual gearbox with no synchro on any gear (crash box) & all changes made by computer/hydraulics! Similar to the VW DSG box.

It does have hill assist, which holds the car for 3 seconds. Which lots of cars have these days.

Not sure if it's the same box that's in the C4 Picasso.

I ended up turning the Stop/Start function off in traffic as it was annoying.

One other thing I noticed this morning when using the screen wash, is that the water beads off along the middle of the drivers side window right at eye level.

  • these and the DS3 look good but still find myself thinking its just a citroen which you pay more for and will probably end up giving you loads of grief just like most french cars do, after driving it did you feel the same or would you buy one.

    The normal tick/tock.

    A funky boing/boing.

    Some sort of jungle sound.

And one which sounds like the exhaust is falling off lol.

I loved about 95% of the car.

Would I buy one? Well, actually yes. But it'd have to be a manual...

Yeah but that is, in the main, a decent gearbox but one I would not like to see a repair bill for.
