Clothes shopping. It should be a pleasure, but so often it ends up being a chore.

But not if you book a Fashion Walk with Fox&Squirrel.

This young company was started by Penelope Sacorafou and Jojo Provatidou, two Greek girls who met whilst living in London, studying for their MAs. Every time friends and family visited, the girls were expected to give grand guided tours of London.

The London tours got a bit of a reputation and last September Penelope and Jojo decided to turn the strolls into a business. "Penelope and I felt that Londoners and visitors to the capital were not experiencing everything London has to offer," explains stylist Jojo. "Guided by a stylist our fashion walk is a combination of personal styling, a personalised shopping route to refer to in the future, and a real London experience."

Book either a solo or group walk, and fill in a pre-walk questionnaire so that your stylist can tailor a route and specific area to meet your needs. Before your walk begins, there's a half-hour 'style-consultation' and then you're off; there are visits to major boutiques alongside non-mainstream designers, discounts are procured and bits of fashion history are thrown in. Coffee breaks and lunch are included, giving you and your stylist time to chat about what you've bought and consider what else your wardrobe needs.

Since launching the company, Fox&Squirrel have also broadened their menu to offer Art, Vintage, Architecture and Food Walks.

It's basically about slowing down, enjoying the journey and wearing comfy shoes.
