Watch Battery Replacement / Company Ceased Trading

Options
Hi,

I sent a Nixon watch off for a battery replacement 3.5 months ago to Extreme Pie, as you can't deal with Nixon directly for this.
(It needed to go to Nixon so they could reseal and pressure test)
Extreme Pie has not responded to my emails and phone calls and I now find that they have ceased trading.
Can anyone advise me on what recourse I have?

TIA.

If they have ceased trading, they may have appointed an administrator, if so you need to contact them and say they have your property.

I think I would be talking to Nixon.
After all it was them who forced you to use Extreme Pie, wasn't it?

    Thanks for the answers.

Can you advise how to find the administrator?

I have contacted Nixon and am awaiting a reply. However, I am not sure if the watch is with them or Extreme Pie at present.

Have you recently tried phoning Extreme Pie?

Their freephone number is all over their Nixon Watch Repairs & Servicing webpage...
How do I check the status of my service, repair, or return?

Please call us on 0800 634 6423. We can provide you with the current status of your service, repair, or return. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the time you send your watch in before calling to check on its status.

I have, when phoning the number on that page it says that the number is incorrect.
When phoning the main number for Extreme Pie, no one answers the phone.

    Hi,
I'm writing from Italy, and i have a similar problem,
i've sent back 3 boardshorts to extremepie for refund, and now the shipping company called me telling that the extremepie office is always closed.
So i'm going to loose my money now (boardshorts value + international shipping)?
  • Same here. Have just returned a watch. I thought that the refund process was taking a little too long and so tried to contact them. All of their email addresses have been disabled and emails just return to sender immediatley and nobody answers the phone. There doesn't seem to be any information regarding contact details. I ahve a friend in insolvency who will attempt to find out some contact details. Will post here if I can get anything.

I propose to keep in touch, and try to solve this problem together.
I think extremepie is not having a correct behavior.

I think the point is that they have gone bust and you now need to deal with the insolvency practitioners.
