Where did you buy them, did you get a discount for quantity?
I am looking to replace my GU10s. I have 50+ and at £40 a pop that is £2,000 +.
On checking their cost saving guide, I find it would take over 7 years to break even.
The electrician doing the work supplied them, he charged £35 ea + VAT, for 7 of them.
I had a new ceiling put up and took the opportunity to install the lights at that time. The electrician cut holes in the old ceiling and did all the cabling. He then came back after the ceiling had been done and cut the new plasterboard (holes lined up !) and fitted the lights.
Total cost, including fitting an additional wall light switch was £466 inc VAT.
I can't fault the lights or the work done.baldelectrician wrote: »What is the lumens per circuit watt of the Halers lights?

Hi Mookrakerz
Thanks for the info.
Speaking to the Halers rep- the cool white comply with the Scottish Building regs (and the England / Wales regs).
The warm white only comply with the England Wales regs @ 40 lumens per watt (Scottish regs require 55 lumens per circuit watt)baldly going on...0 -

425 lumens for the natural white halers evoled here.
I've recently had fitted both the halers led fittings in a new kitchen, and GU10 / kosnic bulbs in another room.
I prefer the halers but I'm not unhappy with the kosnic bulbs. LED is definitely the way to go, if you can cope with the upfront costs.0
