    I wonder what has been done in the last 16-ish months to warrant the extra £5k asking price?

    Just because it says "Offers in Excess of £189,950", doesn't mean the final selling price wont be below £189,950. My brother had an offer accepted for a property advertised at "Offers in Excess of £190,000"...he paid £180K

    I don’t think it’s No 3 because the house just next to it is No 20 check Google maps

    I know that. But in the vendor's eyes at that moment its worth £5k more...if indeed it was that house that sold for £185k in 2010. Time will tell.
