Totally agree - new technology is not always better than old technology.

Take Concorde for example... we no longer can fly supersonic.... so air transport is going backwards (and the new huge Airbus is slower than the current Jumbos etc).

Dump DAB... Try an internet WI-fi radio.... put it in your kitchen... connect to your wireless broadband and listen to stations all over the world!!! They're about 90 pounds fro Currys, Argos etc, and will fall in price...

Yep. It's bizarre that new DAB channel 'theJazz' is transmitted in mono! Still DAB has been a fraud ever since the BBC dumped any pretence of quality in favour of packing in the minority channels (Asian, Six Music etc.)
