Compensation from Ryanair

Hi
Need some help/advice to make sure I follow correct procedure here. Myself, wife and son were delayed 14 hours when our Ryanair flight from Paris Beauvais to Gerona was delayed. Should have left 10.25pm. We were bussed to Lille (2 hour journey) and then had to wait until 12.30pm before we took off. Ryanir blamed late arrival of the plane from previous destination which took the crew over their permitted hours and we had to wait on a new crew being flown out from UK. We had to sleep in the airport as they could not locate enough hotel beds nearby for everybody. Their 'small print' terms and conditions state they will pay 250 euros for such a delay but I can't believe Ryanair would pay this without a fight! Anyone got any similar experience like this with Ryanair. Many thanks.

You didn't get your article 9 right to care entitlement in http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:32004R0261:EN:HTMLPosts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

We've claimed from Ryanair a couple of times & as much as everybody slates them, they have always paid our compensation claims. The last time was a year ago & our return flight from Spain was cancelled. We claimed for food drink & accomodation & they sent us a cheque within 3 weeks of us being home! I was very pleased:j Hope you get yours sorted too.0
