Under £200 and they seem to be mostly A rated energy and wash and either C or B rated spin

Maybe worth asking here which are A rated spin, their pricing also seems to be competetive

Also worth asking your energy supplier the difference in running costs for an A or B rated spin performance. If used with a tumble drier, the running costs could differ greatly

    If its any help....

I have a Bosch, they aren't cheap but in comparison seem well made and do their job well. They are also moderatly quiet to run.

My mum had a Bosch, then after 10 years of fairly frequent use (say 5+ times a week at least) it broke (apparently limescale and no, she did not use Calgon, she used the supermarkets own line which if you read the specifics only have 1/3 of the same active ingredient). She moved on to a Hotpoint, specificly as it was cheaper and she wasn't happy to have paid so much on a Bosch.
Whilst the Hoptpoint does wash well, ITS SO NOISY!! We sit trying to talk over it, even shouting over it a room away is just beyond a joke, its too loud to use over night, (power costs less overnight) and the vibrations it has caused have damaged the laminate flooring. I know now that my next machine will not be a Hotpoint!

I have one awaiting pick up for no reason other than I had a brand new one and the property i bought had "white goods included"...you want it...its yours.
  • Same here, I am looking for a washing machine not because I have an old one and I wanted to replace it. No, because I want to save a lot of money. I have been paying the laundry !!!!!! every month for almost 3 years now and I realize it is a bit expensive. Though, it is much convenient for me because I am busy working. Any advice would help as well. Thanks in advance.
