where to get a removal trolley

hi there

We are in Edinburgh and are looking for a removal trolley to help shift things like fridges and washing machines.

I know that costco had them for twenty quid a pop a couple of months back, but we missed the boat on that one.

I was thinking of trying big diy stores like homebase or B and Q.

If anyone has seen a reasonably priced one, please let me know as it would be a great help and save my poor old back.

with warmest wishes

Do you have a shop caled "Machine Mart" near you? They do reasonable priced ones, also the mail order firm Screwfix direct would possibly have them.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.

  • Wickes had an excellent one recently, about £30 I seem to remember.
I very nearly got one just because it was a really good robustly constructed one for a very good price.
I didn't get one, but now you've reminded me......
  • Couldn't resist it after you had reminded me!
Called in at Wickes whilst out and with Christmas money from 'the outlaws' I got one of the trolleys I mentioned above, £29.99.
Excellent piece of kit which is better than I even remembered it - it folds virtually flat, I think it's about 1" thick and maybe 18" wide by 2'6" high, but is full sized when clicked into place. A lot easier to store than my old, dearly departed, Black & Decker one especially as they only get used every now and again. But certainly up to the task of moving washing machines, freezers etc. Recommended.
