Hi everyone
Could anyone suggest any nice restaurants that won't break the bank. Any cuisine. Ideally nearish to theatreland as it will be sat night and I'm going to see Mamma Mia.
Many thanks

Well I've heard Tiger Tiger is good for burgers. Go before though, it becomes a club late on. I won't recommend TGI Fridays, it's a big overpriced gimmick really. There's a place on Poland Street in Soho called Bodeans that does really good American food, there's a diner at the top or restaurant downstairs. It's about 10 minutes walk away from Mamma Mia. I would recommend the meat platter for 2, try a bit of everything!
China Town is near, but read reviews before you go, as most of them are rubbish as they're designed for 1 trip tourists as oppose to repeat business.
Planet Hollywood's near, never been in though, but it'll probably be gimmicky like TGI Fridays, I did enjoy the one in Disneyland Paris though. Depends what you're looking for in a restaurant I guess.
For cheapness you're better looking at chains like Pizza Express/Strada.etc and get vouchers to use, the above ones are more for experiences or good food. You can go to a chain in any city or large town!0 -
Get onto Top Table. I used it last time I came to London with my son and had tables booked and menus perused before we got on the plane. Paid £35 for 3 courses with Kir Royale for 2 people in Covent Garden and it was great. You'll find every type of food and every budget. I told my mate about it and she did the same and got great bargains in Paris.0
