£15 to change address with Diamond!

My girlfriend has car insurance with Diamond. We've just moved house, so she phoned up Diamond to let them know the new address, and she was charged £14.93 for the privilege of changing address! Is this really a valid charge?! We've moved 1 mile up the road...

    Yes, it's in the T&Cs.

    There will be admin involved at Diamond, plus a slightly different risk profile.

    the odd figure suggests its a change in the post code risk. Admin charges tend to be round figures.

    That's roughly what I was charged 2 weeks after renewing my insurance and then changing job. Will probably be relocating within the 12 cover too so that's another £15 to be put on the bill again :mad:
