DRO and fluctuating income

My DRO should be approved in the next week, but I have a question about my income, maybe someone here can help?

Basically, I changed career earlier this year and currently work as a freelancer. At the moment I am claiming benefits and doing <10 hours work a week (which I declare to DWP), however, this can fluctuate. For instance, I might get two solid months of full-time work, and then <10 hours a week for another month or two.

My question is, if I earned so much in a given month that my disposable income was over £50 during my 12 month DRO period, could my DRO be cancelled?

In the last 6 months i've never had more than £50 disposable income but obviously I am hoping that will change!

when the income fluctuates it should be worked out on a monthly average over the past 6 months or so. keep a record of what your past 6 monthly income is, and if it starts to rise get some budget advice and inform the IS.
