Sun hols - holiday supplements email??

hi all

Two weeks ago i booked 2 sun hols via the website (one for me / one for my mum but both using my email address etc ...one in sept and one in oct half term

last night i recieved an email asking me to pay for the extras for the holiday in october half term but i have not had an email about the one is sept....

have others had an email yet? Both are Haven Holidays but at different parks??

I am concerned that there may be a problem with the sept holiday going through??

Did one of them have free entertainment passes? Maybe that's why you've only received one request for payment?
  • Agree with above poster. We have booked dates in oct and when i looked at the parks either the passes for oct dates were half price or free. Maybe this is why?

Id give them a ring and see what they say x

    no

they both had ents passes as extra - also i have just payed for the passes etc for the oct break and just deducted the £14 linen fee as i will take my own - but it says i still owe £14??? will they realize i am not paying this as am taking own linen...

also it did not offer me the chance to upgrade - even thought the email said i would be able to??

I still dont have an email (apart from the initial confirmation email i received immediately after booking) asking me to pay for ents passes for the sept break - but i put in the reference number and it brought up the booking and i tried to pay and it said "sorry there has been an error we can not recall details of this holiday) !!!!!

I will try phoning but it is a 10p a minute number and i am away from home for a week!

i don't normally pay till I receive the paper confirmation in the post fromm Haven and I think its only 8 weeks prior you have to pay the remaining balance, depending on when you are going.

On a similar theme, I have booked a weekend for the first time for a Sun holiday but hadn't intended to have the entertainment pass as we were going to use it as a cheap base to visit my mum.
I have an email and now paper copy to say I owe £41 for ent passes.
Do I have to buy them? If not, how do I go about cancelling them without ringing their expensive help line? There doesn't seem to be an online help.

i have had said email, have you tried putting in the sun reference number and surname of the person the holiday is booked in, to find out if anything comes up?

You are required to purchase the entertainment passes for your holiday. If you don't purchase them by the said date your booking will be cancelled and you'll loose any monies already paid.

I have booked a Haven one too, and got an email, a first for me I usually pay when the letter comes and in fact once I paid the week before oooppss. Have you tried calling Haven direct rather than the sun holiday bookings? Perhaps that is cheaper? Good luck getting it sorted :-)

I have just searched and finally found a Q&A on the sun holiday website saying that the ent passes and linen are optional but not the service charge. This doesn't seem to match the kind advice above... I don't want to loose my booking so I suppose I had better take the hit and ring them to get their answer.
