Try Wetherspoons Sunday roasts. The roast potatoes are incredible, the meat is passable, the veg are rubbery, and the Yorkshire puds are chargrilled (yuck!). It's like a schizophrenic meal.
    Very disappointing.

They don't cost £10 down here. £5-50 in the day £7-75 in the evening.

wow, really?! I thought they'd be the same wherever you live. The Harlow Toby carvery on a Sunday is £9.99 per head!

They are all £9.99 on a Sunday but you get an extra meat dont know what it is, maybe lamb or pork

I have been in a few and they are all £5.49 before 7pm, you also get £1 of a desert before 7pm :)

It was probably you that served me because they were as dumb as you.

And with that mature comment, any credibility or interest in what you say is gone

my theory on that is that they wash their hands when they get back to the kitchen, some people probably !!!! on their hands, don't wash them and open the door. So as the kitchen staff are supposed to wash their hands before doing anything, they'll have to do it when they get back to the kitchen anyway.

meanwhile whatever they touch with their hands on the way back to the kitchen...

as for menu tweaks - they're not that hard to do. I like steak but I like it with jacket potato rather than chips - even better if I can have sour cream on the spud. I don't usually find it on the menu - but I ask for it, nicely, and usually get it.

Not really. In fact I'd say they are even more credible for pointing out your sheer stupidity.

    But if you don't think 6+3 = 9 then that's fine. :D
