Can I please do some cartwheels????
MY COUNCIL TAX ARREARS ARE GONE! :j:beer:
I rang CT to check how much we had left as been dealing with underhand bailiffs and they said £10.04 so I flippin well paid it! Its not over sadly as we need to take on the bailiffs and get them to sort out their fraudulent activity - they agreed to our payment offer but said they couldnt take it over the phone and had to come out for us to sign the paperwork. I left OH to deal with it and they did walking possession on 4 accounts, charged us hundreds on top and levied on our broken down metro (:rotfl:). They even charged on an account already settled! So we now have to get them to refund all charges  as they werent allowed to charge any of them! I just left the CT woman speechless as she didnt know that I knew the bailiff is owned by the same company that the council contracts the council tax to. Talk about a conflict of interests!
They can have the broken down metro if they want, its currently in many pieces down the scrappy :rotfl:well, the bailiff said we could ONLY sell it if we paid them the money we made on it directly to them....which I did, all £95 of it :T
Edit to add: The arrears were about £3k, so really pleased 0 0
