Friday 22nd July - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Goood morning from a rather cheery me - it's the end of term:j:j:j
So, I thought I'd start the thread then you probably won't see me much for a while;) We're off to SPain in a few weeks for a week all inclusive...bliss. Other than that we have no plans....lots of lounging about, sorting house, selling on ebay....:rotfl:
So - time for a list from me:

I have menu planned for next month, got some inspiration from the OS boards for a bit of variety otherwise I end up feeding OH the same meals over and over, going to finish batch cooking my grocery shop from yesterday to stop OH from making it and not having it go as far and having frozen home made 'ready meals' stops me going for takeaway on the nights I can't be bothered, otherwise and just sorting out my august budget but am sure I have forgotten something because I have over £100 left, even after bumping £150 into wedding savings :S0

Morning everyone, and thanks to pixie for starting us off today.
My list so far:- ran DW overnight on Economy 7
- checked banking - dire!!!
- checked for surveys
- fed and watered the chickens and asked for 4 eggs today
- boxed half a dozen eggs to sell
- "fed" the sourdough starter - might be able to start using it over the weekend

- made packed lunch and snacks from stores - left overs and lots of fruit/nuts
- scoured local paper for a part time job but nothing suitable

- get paid for eggs
- keep an eye on surveys throughout the day
- do a half hour walk at lunchtime - this has slipped since doing the Race for Life as I'm not 'in training' any more

- try not to shout at the UPS office person when I phone to complain. They've left me a "second" delivery attempt slip and will try to re-deliver today, but I'll be at work. If they'd left a slip the first time I could have rescheduled it!
- try to get through my day at work without wanting to hand in my notice - a very big DFW thing to do today :rotfl:
