We had duck for christmas and I still have a breast and 2 legs in the fridge... But have they passed their best? They look and smell fine but am I pushing it as it was cooked on the evening of the 25th? (cooked for HOURS slowly so well cooked...)
Anyone know if this would still be ok? Don't want to chuck it out if it's still safe to eat
(and I noticed loads of people still using their left over goose and turkey...
)

I wouldn't keep cooked meats in the fridge more than 72 hours. http://www.puritan.com/vf/healthnotes/HN75_English/Food_Guide/Duck.htm this site seems to agree with me. I put my left over meats in the freezer within 48 hours this year just incase, don't want iffy tummys especially at this time of year.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0
