Rural Broadband and Phoneline

Hi I've checked with a few different suppliers such as Tesco, PlusNet, AOL and it appears none of them can provide a service. I'm moving to Gloucestershire next week and need to get sorted with a cheap supplier.
Any tips? Thanks.

Thank you, seems I have to pay a line rental to BT whoever I go with for phone service or broadband? Or am I missing something?0

You can have the same supplier for phone + broadband, or you can have one set up the line and the other supply the broadband. However in the case of the latter approach not every pair/combination work together so the first thing to do, as above, is see what's available to you.
There is, however, only one reason I can think of why the named three suppliers cannot supply you, the rural location might or might not be a clue: the ability to have broadband via a phone line is not universal. If the line is poor quality or is too long, ADSL broadband does not work. Your options therefore might be wireless if there's a local provider, or 3G, or satellite. Believe there is one cabled village in the country but that would be quite a stroke of coincidence if it's that one.
However you won't know until you check the above and see what it indicates.0 -

You need to pay line rental to someone-not necessarily to BT.
Assuming that you can get any form of ADSL broadband, all the suppliers you mention serve all UK exchanges. What you will not get on a small rural exchange are any LLU options-so the costs will be higher. No free lunch, and no free laptop
