Online banking abbreviation "B S S T X Q TFR" - what does it mean?

Greetings,
Sorry if my question is not strictly about money issues, but I have just seen some strange events in my barclays accounts:
On 11 july, I put around £200 into my barclays isa account (transferred from bank account), then was off for holiday, when I am back today, I saw this amount plus a small amount of interest was returned to my bank account with the following note:
"B S S T X Q TFR"
Does anyone know what this is about, what does it stand for? Probable reason for the return of deposit from isa back to bank account?
Thanks a million!

I have absolutely no idea if this is even close, but I assume TFR is 'transfer' and a quick google search returned this page: http://www.deepmarket.com/stock/bsstx. There's also a bssxx on there which refers to Barclays: http://www.deepmarket.com/stock/bssxx.
Is it an S&S ISA? No idea what it all means, but I thought that might perhaps help you in some way!
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Googled this:
http://www.investorpoint.com/exchange/NMF-Mutual%20Funds/mutual%20fund/_4/
BSSTX is the symbol for a US Bear Stearns fund traded on their Mutual Fund Index.
or this
http://www.deepmarket.com/stream/bssxxBarclays Global Investors Funds Institutional Fund Service is traded on the Mutual Fun () using the symbol BSSXX
Industry: Main Industry Sub Industry Specific Industry
Previous symbol is BSSTX
TFR seems like an abbreviation for transfer but not sure about the Q. If you havent been using this service it looks like Barclays may have made a bit of a booboo!0 -
Yeah, I also thought TFR was transfer, but still got no clue about "B S S T X Q", as I never used "Barclays Global Investors Funds Institutional Fund Service is traded on the Mutual Fund..." , had never heard of it to be honest!
Considering they left such a strange note and returned my deposit, I feel at least an explanation is necessary from them.0 -
Barclays Stocks & Shares Transaction Query Transfer
I say that with great authority in the hope you don't notice I'm guessing.0 -
What the letters mean you're going to have to ask Barclays. The two most likeliest reasons for your ISA deposit to be returned, other then it being in error, are that you have either over-subscribed in this tax year, or you have not deposited anything into your ISA for at least one full tax year.Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -
Hi there,
Strange events in my barclays accounts have also occurred:
On 12 Sept, I put around £200 into my barclays isa account (transferred from bank account), today 13th I checked my online account and saw approx £40 was returned to my bank account with the following note:
"B S S T X Q TFR"
I googled the above and found this thread. I am hoping it is an error made by Barclays. Very odd as I havent exceeded my ISA limit.
Just thought I would comment to prove this is not a unique incident.
