have lost receipt for new roof

Options
i had a roof replaced in 2008.

i don't have the receiopt any longer. i seem to have thrown the schedule of works and guarantee out.

i do have a cheque stub but it would not prove what i had paid for.

do i still have a guarantee?

Is there an issue with it?
    Is the company still around?

Have you a problem and have you contacted the roofer/builder?

Phone the contractor up and see if they will issue a copy, if they are reputable most would be happy to do this.
