Having just moved into a property that has been vacant for some time the outside is in need of a bit of TLC. The gutters need clearing out and all the fascias, soffits, windows and conservatory need a good clean.
I have had several people provide quotes and there is such a disparity in the methods used and the price quoted and I have no idea what is best/reasonable.
So far I have had the following:
Thanks!
I have had several people provide quotes and there is such a disparity in the methods used and the price quoted and I have no idea what is best/reasonable.
So far I have had the following:
- Local Company who jet clean (reckon job will take 2 days)- £265
- Local Company who 'hand clean' (2 day job) - £300
- Local Company who 'hand clean' (2 day job) - £180 (reduced from £230 if having house and conservatory done together)
- Company called StayWhite who have today been round canvassing - hand cleaned with 3 part system - some kind of solvent which takes out ingrained dirt, a cream cleaner which is apparently the upvc equivalent of T-cut and then a silicone spray which they say keeps it clean for up to 5 years - quote £260
Thanks!

Before I even saw the quotes I was going to suggest the solvent, cream and silicone method. It will be ten times cleaner than the jetwashing !!!!!!.
I have no idea the size of your house so can't comment on price.0 -
I had my conservatory (4m x 3m) cleaned last year and it was a one man one day job for £120. I was delighted with the results too.
