wrong informationIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
I think I got in just in time with Warm Front, the waiting list was getting longer and longer. Two years ago I had a new boiler, new hot water tank, cavity wall insulation, and loft insulation. They gave me a £3,500 grant. They have just been to service the boiler today, still under the grant scheme. It's a shame if they don't do it any more.
I wouldn't go to Brit Gas for any big jobs, I have a local plumber and he is spot on, they are worth their weight in gold. Perhaps OP could ask around the neighbours and get some recommendations from them. Get several quotes.
IlonaI love skip diving.
