    That was different.

    That was people putting money in small banks on a foreign island which had little or no primary or secondary industry, which did not fall under a UK banking license.

    What you are suggesting here is that, should one of the large banks that fall under the jurisdiction of the FSCS fail, for example, Lloyds, RBS or Santander, which would be the safest one?

    What I am saying to you, is that if this were to happen, there is no way on gods earth that the UK government would be able to refund all of their depositors, and the consequences of such a collapse would probably lead to almost complete and utter financial and social meltdown.
