Hi all. Been in hospital so just got the letter posted to the chief exec of Sefton MBC today re my mum. Mum told me the whole story from scratch where she paid a nominal fee and they wanted to increase it. She told them she couldnt afford the increase and to cancel it. They never cancelled and Mum assumed stupidly that the amount was the same as she hadnt heard anything else...so she continued paying the fee shew as already paying. 12 months later and a £1204 bill later they informed her. Makes me laugh that they waited 12 months to tell her she owed over a grand yet when she owes around £200 they send her file to philips!
Anyway thanks for all your help. Will try and let u know about what happens and if you want me to put the letter here I will.
