Technika MP3 Player at Tesco

These look to be very good value and I'm thinking of buying one. However, bearing in mind the principle of 'you get what you pay for' it may be better to spend a bit more. If anyone has got one of these and can give me some feedback I would be grateful. How easy are they to set up? How reliable? How is the sound quality? Many thanks.

haven't got one, but OUCH on that price, i got a 4gb mp3 player from ebay with a battery powered speaker and a transmitter included in the price for £16, £15.98 i think.
seem the seller i bought mine from no longer sells it. the seller sent me the wrong kind as he only had that one in stock, i wanted one line the below link.

heres a 4gb mp3 player including radio uses 1 AAA battery to power it and £12.95, i use to have the 1gb model which i paid around £80 at the time

can also be used as a data drive as well, just put 2gb of music or whatever and the files on the remaining. plugs straight into the usb socket no leads required but comes with one.
if using a 900mah rechargable battery should last for 8hrs per battery.

It has 4GB built in, but for expansion it only seems to take CF cards, which are bulky compared to more modern memory cards. I'd go for one with a micro-SD slot - e.g. one of the Sansas such as the Clip+.

4bg is a lot of music, maybe not by current brand capacity but it depends on your usage. I don't tend to carry more than 2gb around. Is it rechargable? I'd say the price isn't to unfair really.

fwor the one i posted doesnt take any expansion cards at all. and 4gb is equal to around 1024 tracks, if a track is 4mb, with an average of 3min-4min per track, thats 3096-4096minutes worth. battery would need replacing approximately every 8 hrs, some rechargable / built in battery mp3 players can not be used whilst charging like the IItronics mp-1805 which lasts on average 8hrs, the 1 i got then needs recharging which takes time. which is why i prefer the AAA battery type, battery dies, take out, replace with fully charged 1, continue, recharge battery when you get home.

Ah Ok - the listing is confusing because it says "Memory Card Type: Compact Flash I", but I see what you mean, that seems to just be an error.
