A Great Big Thank You!

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to pop back and thank you all for all the great advice Ive had and read on this forum.
My IVA was accepted on the 4th July and I made my first payment on Tuesday! 59 to go and Ill be debt free. I cannot wait.
It was a stressfull process but worth it. I found as long as I was honest and answered calls to my creditors they didnt hassle me too much. CCCSV have been really helpful.
My IVA was accepted with only changes to CCCSv's charges and they accepted 18p in the £1. Something is better than nothing which is what they would have got if I went bankrupt.
Managing my money properly for the first time is great but things are pretty tight. Its hard having to turn down invites all the time but so far my friends have been understanding.
Having just been through the process I hope I can provide some helpfull advice to others!
Thanks again
Lisa

Well Done Lisa. You will soon get into the swing of budgetting ... and it's great to pay for the shopping with cash ( bit of a novelty at first) and know that, whatever you buy, it's paid for !0

Hi Lisa
Little tip for you, always keep £20 in your purse for emergencies... nothing worse than being out and about with no cards to fall back on..... but great knowing the £20 is just sitting there if your ever need it..
Good luck and well done...Never make assumptions always ask questions>>>>>;)0
