GM being General Motors give 3% cashback on all purchases, against the purchase of a any new Vauxhall.
I purchased a Zafira and saved £2,400. You have to plan ahead, but they'll give you £100 towards a new car purchase, just for successfully applying.

I think calling it "cashback" is not really an accurate description unless you actually get cash (of the folding variety) back. It is perhaps the best rebate scheme around but unless you already plan on buying a new GM car in the future it would be hard to argue for it.0

If GM ever buy out Lotus, i'll consider getting one of these cardsMortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -
If you need a rebate on a Lotus then you can't afford it0

Haven't GM owned Lotus for a few years now???
While this seems like a good deal if you want to buy a new Vauxhall (or Volvo or Daewoo or Lotus etc) the discount is going to be off the list price. Given that nobody ever pays the list price for a new car, you're likely to get just as good a deal by negotiating with the dealer.0 -
You might think it would be of the list price, but I negotiated 11% of the list price and then redeemed my GM Rebate Points.0

That should read 11% off the list price. 11% of the list price really would be a good deal!0
