Connecting phone to Orange Livebox?

Options
This might seem like a really stupid question, but I just got my Orange Livebox set up with the 'free' calls.

I don't really use the (home) phone much at all, so when I come to connect it, the leads don't seem to be matching.

How do I connect a phone into the livebox? What leads do I need, or do I have to buy a special phone for it?

I have no knowledge of the livebox but, from the pictures HERE it looks like you need a converter patch lead* so that you can attach a phone which has a UK telephone plug.

    * That's what I use to connect a phone to my BT Voyager BT2500V ADSL router anyway (the RJ11 'foreign' socket looks similar to, but smaller than, a standard ADSL ethernet socket).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

You should find a small white adapter in the box, this should be plugged into the phone socket on the livebox, your phone should then connect to the adapter. They come as standard with all liveboxes :D
