Would not have one given - Samsonite - no thank you.
Spent well over £100 on one of their cases and the inside zip burst after 3 uses - they said I had overpacked it but with a 20kg limit it was impossible.
After lots of hassle they replaced it and on second use of this case the outside zip broke. Was on an Emirates flight and they sorted it out for me but would never buy another one - trading on past name.
Have a look on Samsonite forums (yes they are there) and the biggest moan is about their non existant Customer Service, which I found out.0 -

I would never use hold luggage with a zip anyway - irrespective of brand - they are very easy to break into and don't offer the protection of a poly prop shell.
I have had two Samsonite hard shell cases for many years now and they have had very substantial use and abuse.
A little scratched they may be, but they are secure and will protect the contents.
Of course the downside is the weight factor - but if you don't travel on LCC's then it not so much an issue.
They were expensive at the time I bought them, but it has turned out to be money well spent.0 -
