Absolutel sickens me here, that the price rises by SSE is getting barely any air time at all.....
Is the news not meant to be impartial?
At 9am Skynews have it running across the ticker, but then when it hits 9am it doesnt even get mentioned by newsreader as one if the headlines..:mad:

Absolutely disgusting.....
Its bout time the News companies started picking on Supermarkets for their price increases..... etc
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?

Wow Sky just mentioned them, it got a mere 10seconds.....
where the interviews? wheres the discussions with the panel??

Thats right..... the foreign owners never show their face..
At least British Gas - a UK business - has the balls to go on telly and try and explain....

Its bout time some people started kicking u more stink about these foreign owned energy companies who are basically nicking UK money.
At least British Gas heavily invests in the energy infrastructure

The only infrastruture i see foreign companies want to do is destroy the landscape, divert rivers for hydro purposes, while damagin the current eco system.

our mothers/grand mothers got dirt cheap electric as they never really paid for the furute infrastructure, now we are, and will, and have to accept this....

    Big rant.

point is though, BG put the top brass out around the news stations...
These other energy companies announce it, but don go out of their way to explain.
Its these companies that should be ridiculed more than companies that go out of their way to explain

Do you think their explaination will be any different to BG?

And if it is would you believe it?

What do they need to explain? They are putting prices up. They legally have to tell you that, and they have done so. If you don't like them, use another company. As you admire them, use British Gas.

i do use British Gas, as the are cheaper in my area....
All that gets me is so much negativity when BG put their prices up, but barely a eyelid is batted when any other company increases thei prices.

But BG have probably 4 or 5 times as many customers (dont know/care exact figures) so surely that should equal 4 or 5 times the amount of airtime?

Of course it shouldn't. Utter nonsense. A price rise is a price rise no matter how big or small the company and it's about time the other companies got it in the neck as much as BG seem to.

    To quote you, "Utter nonsense"

Scottish power got far more air time and headlines than BG did..

Its just that BG were shrewd enough to announce the price rise on a day where it could be buried under other headlines (The demise of News of the world and the phone hacking)
