I have been a gateway assessor at my local bureau for nearly a year and I love it. It involves interviewing clients and either booking them an appointment with an advisor, providing them with information or signposting them to another organisation. Are there any other gateway assessors on here and if so what do you like about the role and what do you dislike? I have looked for online forums but nothing relates to CAB volunteering specifically.
