Just reading a post by Albatross has me worried that my Router security may not be set up correctly.
I know nothing about routers and just installed it and left it at that.
I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how I encrypt it or what settings it should be on for ultimate security, I'm such a divvy when it comes to Routers.
Its a Linskys WRT54GS

Does it say open/unsecured wireless network when you do a wireless scan (double click on the wireless icon in bottom right hand corner, view wireless networks).

This is an excellent walkthrough for configuring WPA on that router.

The setup pages are accessed via 192.168.1.1
If you've not altered your logon to the router from admin|admin then do that too (it's one of the other chapters on the website above...infact take a read of all of them, it explains the router well)0 -
This is where I prove myself a divvy, I don't know what you mean by a wireless scan, sorry Albatross.
A couple of screen shots I have just taken that may help.
