Blackpool Tower 2 for 1

Just a quick heads up for anyone wanting to use 2 for 1 vouchers for the Tower.
It works out more expensive to use them!
The Tower is undergoing lots of renovations at the moment, in other words it is a building site, and a mess.
As we were taking my mother in law there for her first ever visit though we thought we would turn a blind eye to the chaos, and we had 2 for 1 vouchers so a bargain we though, but no..... if you wish to go in the tower now you basically pay for "attractions" insdividually the "attractions" are the ballroom, the circus and jungle Jims, there is absolutely nothing else available in the Tower.
anyway on the door prices for the tower, and circus was £12, so we assumed that meant we would all get in for equivalent £6 each with the vouchers, but nope, if you are using vouchers then you only get half price on one attraction, ( i didnt see how much they were priced at individually) but we were asked to pay over £27 for 2 of us going in using the vouchers, although without vouchers it would have been £24, No one seemed to be able to explain this anomally. Not wanting to disappoint mu mother in law we paid the £12 each to get in.
Although the ballroom is lovely, after an hour we were bored, this was only about noon, and as the circus didnt start till 2pm we all left the tower and went for lunch.
Have always loved the Tower, but won't be back.
Final note though the circus was great as always.
