Still being hounded for payment

I posted in June about being hounded for the cost of a hire car. It is still ongoing but I will never again take out the legal assistance insurance that you feel you should have to protect you when you take out car insurance.
If I had not paid for this insurance then I don't think that my insurance company would have passed my claim to another company to deal with. I wouldn't have been messed about and and my no fault claim would have been settled much sooner and to my benefit and not used to make money from others
Thank you for reading my rant. Any advice would be very much appreciated as I am still being chased for the cost of the hire car if this company cannot claim it from the 3rd party insurer. It appears that the contract I have signed that I thought to be with the car hire company was with the company that arranged the hire car and is threatening legal action.

Are the third party refusing to pay for the hire car. Who instructed the car hire company or yourself to get the car. Have you spoken to the thrid party's insurance people
Have you contacted your insurance company's insurance dept. for advice.
If not, most solicitors will give you a half hour free session.
When I had my no fault claim in May/june I dealt directly with the third party insurance. They admitted liability, told me to get a quote,
told me to take my car to a garage, instructed the car hire company to deliver a car to me, all this was done for me,
everything was done in the space of 10 days. Sorted
The time before that I had no experience of this sort of thing and I was bulldozed into a using a claims management company, they did nothing that I couldnt have done myself and just prolonged the job. Luckily we we were going on holiday so we had the car repaired while we were away. I just think they are all leeches preying on people when they are vulnerable.
Hope you get is sorted.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thank you for your reply. (I don't have permission to use the thanks icon something else to sort out)
My insurer took so long to deal with tthe claim that when I was contacted by the third party insurer I agreed to let them deal with the claim direct.Everything was sorted very quickly.
When I was waiting for my insurer to deal with the claim initially was when I was contacted and pressured about having a hire car. I had not made a claim before so didn't know what would happen.
Leeches is a very good description.0
