Praise for Amazon (Kindle)

Having spotted the MSE tip about refurbished Kindles I finally decided to buy one. I ordered a 3G last Friday with Super Saver Delivery at £115.99, it turned up in the wilds of Scotland on Tuesday, looks immaculate and has worked perfectly. I've even been able to use my HTC phone charger in the absence of a charger of it's own. Well done Amazon, and thanks to MSE for publicising it.

Thanks for the tip about the HTC charger! I have a Kindle too, and my boyfriend has an HTC phone, so instead of digging out my Kindle charger once a month I'll try his charger which is always hanging around instead.

Hope you're getting on well with your Kindle, I love mine. Have you looked into using Calibre yet? It lets you download some popular newspapers/blogs to your Kindle for free.
