Strange Yodel Tracking

I'm waiting for something to be delivered by Yodel, so checked the tracking today & this is what it shows
Arrived At Depot (WEDNESBURY HUB) 20th Jul 2011 01:49
Departed Depot (WEDNESBURY HUB) 20th Jul 2011 01:39

I'm a little confused as to why it would leave the depot & then return 10 minutes later, to seemingly stay there.
Does anyone have any ideas?

If your tracking number has 8, 13 or 16 digits, please give us a call on 0871 244 0525. If your tracking number has 12 digits or starts with JD00, please call us on 0844 248 0555.0

Thanks for the number, I tried calling them earlier & was on hold for ages, so gave up. I'm just glad that I always use say no to 0870.
It's not an important delivery, it was a too good to miss offer from JML.
It just seems a little strange that it started moving & then went back to the hub. I guess it will turn up one day.
Good job JML aren't selling on ebay, it took them 10 days to despatch the order.0 -
it may not have actually left the depot. When it arrived it'd have been scanned in, so if it's been scanned in wrong or something didn't work they'd have to book it out and then book it back in to the system.0

That could explain it, maybe it will continue some time tonight.0 -
There was someone on another thread where the parcel had been stolen by the driver, and tracking was funny like yours.
I believe it was Soolin.
Not saying it happened to you, just letting you know.0 -
It arrived (by the tracking) at my local depot today so I think that scheming was correct.
Delivered to me in all it's winter warm loveliness.0 -

All parcels receive a scan when they come off of the trailer. As they move along the conveyor, the parcels that are suitable of Yodel Neighbourhood couriers are culled out. These parcels have to be scanned from the regular network and then scanned to the Yodel Neighbourhood network (in the same depot, obviously). The next scan should show them being scanned to the specific route.0 -
I have used Yodel twice in the last three weeks and they are giving out false tracking info. The first parcel got lost with there tracking info saying loaded onto van then tracking stopped so £60.00 worth of goods up the swanee and still no compo.
Second time they never picked up the parcel but their tracking showed it had been picked up and loaded onto van etc etc, total lies though as its still here waiting for collection on the living room floor.
They are now being investigated.
Whatever you do dont use Yodel.A little grunt a little squeeze and out it comes like lemon cheese0 -
