Hoe Can I Check My Premium Bond

Hope you peeps can help, my parents were sorting out their attic last weekend and found a prmium bond i hadbrought for me when i was 1, its dated 1/1/1965. My question is, the couple who brought it me areno longer alive and when i tried to check it against unclaimed prizes it does not recognise the number. Im entering the number on the certificate. The certificate is only a £1. But hey you never know, its not been checked in 46 years!!!

The number you have to enter in the prize checker is your holders number and not the bond number. In your case you might have to use their tracing service.

This link from NS&I should help you:

    Good Luck!

Soi long as you have your number you'll be ok.
You should get in touch to tell them where you live now though.

I discovered last week that a premium bond bought for me when I was 1 month old in January 1959 wasn't linked to my Holder Number, I rang up and was advised to write to them with details of the bond (and a few others) and the address where I lived when it was bought and they would do the necessary tracing to allow them to associate it with my Holder Number.

I'm not holding out much hope for an unexpected win though as my parents lived at that address for the next 51 years (unless they nicked the cheque of course ).
