    Good on ya! You're much better off with Capital one than Vanquis or Granit as Vanquis (Granite) have horrific customer serivce and routinely lie, both on their statements, and on the phone.

    Yep, Vanquis are bottom of the wet washing basket and smell like a damp cupboard :rotfl:

  • That is good to know lily. Try to use your credit card from time to time especially on shopping. Then pay everything you have used from your card regularly. Sooner or later, the bank will give you a higher credit limit and allow you to have a credit card history. Not just a credit history, but a good and steady credit account history. This will give you a good name and will surely avail any other offers the bank may have.
