I don't fancy one of her dinners either

    "Faghittas,mexican salad and Hm coleslaw"

I have to say I'm quite impressed with her meal plan but I'm not sure I could manage all that for that price.

I'm thinkning of having a try at it next month. Away on holiday for a week next week but will have bene paid by time we get back so starting a 'new month' grocery wise. I usually shop weekly but I think I will try a monthly shop next time with top ups only for fresh stuff.

If you look at her shopping thread she links to she buys an awful lot of processed what I consider junk - loads of biscuits, crisps, lollies, icecream, fizzy pop doughnuts. She claims they eat 8 portions of fruit and veg a day but i can't see how from her list - I buy easily that a month (probably more) for 4 of us and there is no waste - for example she says a cabbage does 3 meals for 7 - I get 2 meals for 4!

She says they have a choice of 7 cereals at breakfast but her shopping list inc only 4 boxes a month - we get through 2 boxes a week (again no waste) but then well I figured she says they are having eggs - but at 30 eggs a month clearly they aren't have them very often.

It could probably be done, with really cheap nasty frozen chicken and stuff like that. No way could I feed my family that kind of rubbish though...
I can't see the 8+ portions of fruit and veg either...
